Pols to Acc Boycott Again and Nc Schools Will Be Booted
Cincinnati, ACC how probable?
-
What's the odds of Cincy joining the ACC in the near time to come? I'm not a Cincy fan, a Hurricane 4 life. I feel adding UC is the next step in upgrading the briefing overall.
I think information technology may happen in year 15', And so the ACC would split to North & Southward. I feel the ACC would boot Wake Forest outta the conference for Cincy, well at least am hoping.
I don't desire UC to join with the ACC losing meridian teams within the conference.North:
Louisville
Virginia TechCincy
North Carolina St.
CUSE
PITT
Boston CollegeSouthward:
FSU
Clemson
Miami
North Carolina
Virginia
GT
Duke*Norte Matriarch play five ACC games yearly.

Dainty residual. We'll take information technology, and of grade we want to movement! How about today?
-
In the hopes that 4eva is not another reincarnate of bounciness/eternal eastward/no doubt/onyx, I would jump all over that conference yesterday as I'm sure the admin and everyone on this board would as well. I just don't know that a conference would "kick" another schoolhouse though.
-
We admittedly would beloved an invite... yesterday. Only the thinking effectually here is that the ACC needs to lose at least i more school to another briefing for united states of america to be invited. And that won't happen until the Maryland stuff is all figured out.
BTW, no way they kick out anyone already in the conference. -
No question that no ane will be asked to leave no matter how poor the fit. Think Seton Hall. They make Wake look similar USC.
-
We will end up in the ACC. Its just a matter of fourth dimension. More teams will get out the ACC, merely nothing volition happen until the Maryland-ACC court instance is resolved. None of the ACC teams that want to leave are going to do annihilation until they know they are going to pay either $52 million or $20 million. I bet once that example is resolved we'll be asked into the ACC inside a month. FSU, GT, or Virginia volition go to the Big 10.
-
Any news on the Maryland lawsuit? Timeline for it being resolved? Annihilation?!?!
-
Would love it. Also highly doubt that WF gets dumped. Beingness located where they are, I would think would create a huge political problem if they were summarily dispatched. In that location is some precedent though, as the BE did boot Temple for poor functioning (at present they are back!). The simply way that I run across some of these non-performers getting booted would exist not to boot them, but to have new conferences created. Which of course has occurred in the past, and would come up out of left field, which makes it all the more possible based on how most of this has played out.
Would really enjoy reigniting some old rivalries.

I think the odds are high that UC gains admittance to the ACC. It is the best fit for both the briefing and UC. I like your proposal, but I think that:
-No 1 will become kicked out. So WKU will stay
-Virginia is probable to leave for the Big Ten (or any they will be calling it then)
-Ditto for GT
-That leaves room for one more school. Who will it be? UConn? -
I'd hope they'd add UCONN. That would brand for the best B-ball conference of all fourth dimension.
-
I call back UCONN sounds like they are behind UC right at present. I thought they said they voted to add UCONN earlier Louisville and they weren't anywhere close to getting added. UCONN fought with every schoolhouse that left for the ACC and they haven't forgotten. It sounds like the pecking club would be UC, UCONN, then USF. After that its a toss-up. No affair what happens, if we get into the ACC we'll be much better off. The ACC volition likely lose a lot of their best teams, only even an ACC without its elevation teams is far greater then where we're at at present.
-
Your ACC North looks like a new/old Big Due east Sectionalisation (other than Virginia).
-
From what I am reading, information technology is moving at a terrapin pace.
-
Now Temple is back out of the Large East. They have to be the only team to be forced out of the same conference twice.
-
I think your timing is about correct, 2015. I don't believe Wake gets booted. If push comes to shove, they would seem to have well connected alums that would cake it.
I like your division setup. 6 games in-partition and 2 crossover each yr? Whatsoever thoughts to other scheduling combinations?
-
Welcome 'Cane I was hoping the reason Miami canceled the game with u.s.a. in 2015, was considering we'd be joining the league
-
I remember wake down the line, will end the football game program. How is it FSU & Norte Matriarch comes to your abode, and you can't sellout a 30k stadium.. SMH, Wake do have a pretty decent bball program, the pefect fit for them would to join the A-x.
-
The scheduling side, I think it would pb to nine conference games a yr an 3 cross-overs. Some teams would play the other side squad, one out of three cross every twelvemonth, like Miami & VT rivals.. also go along in Mind ND would play ACC teams 5 games yearly.... But than again their aint no rivals from side to side similar Miami & VT.. Some new rivals will take identify, I feel Cincy & FSU gona exist a rival down the line or North Carolina
-
Can't disagree more than - heck within the final ten years people were debating if UC should end their football program
-
Could maybe come across them drop to FCS level. I retrieve nosotros're going to find several schools do that in the stop.
-
Wake Wood won't do anything unless it is forced to practice information technology. They won't be turning downward the ACC TV money just because their fans don't testify up. Football and basketball are the simply programs that brand any money at these schools and normally football makes 2 to iii times more money than basketball. These schools are going to be doing their best to either improve their conference amalgamation or at worst stay in their briefing.
-
What reason does Wake have (or Duke for that thing) to driblet football game? They make a crapload of money, and volition only make all the more than with the new "rich get richer" playoff situation.
-
Leak of fan support inside the football plan. Information technology'due south a cold world now in college football, kinda like the pro'due south now. ACC just may force Wake out, it'due south already iii Northward Carolina schools, and Wake don't bring much to the table. Unlike Cincy would, its about the Coin
-
Leak of fan support within the football plan. It'southward a cold world now in higher football, kinda like the pro's at present. ACC simply may force Wake out, it's already 3 North Carolina schools, and Wake don't bring much to the table. Unlike Cincy would, its nigh the MONEY
-
It does depress you looking at some of the teams with a seat at the table because they have always had one.
-
The idea of Wake existence forced out of the ACC is rediculous. Schools rarely get forced out of conferences. Very rarely, and Wake has given them no reason to, in addition to having strong allies. Only way Wake could get screwed would be if there were an ACC B12 merger and the B12 and the numbers mandated they be excluded, but that'southward unlikely.
